Sometimes, I feel so in the dark
I look for days and can't find a spark
Surrounded by fear and all the unknown
Life seems so hard being all grown
You choose the path you think is right
Next thing you know, you're losing sight
Time changes all, and gone in a flash
In the blink of an eye, a wink of a lash
Do you know what it is to cry
To breath in big and release a sigh
To miss a life as it was before
To carry on and live it no more
A smile will come to hide the pain
Days go on, no time for sane
I pray at night, wish to be free
But still, I'm lost
